My grandparents used to live in a community south of Peterborough called Fraserville, really just a couple of country roads, not too far from Millbrook. We all loved going there to the country. There were cows behind the house and a big, big yard and we would see our cousins there sometimes, and of course, our grandparents. I went to Millbrook first.
There you go. I had no idea.
This mural is on the side of the building on the left in the above picture.
A pretty country lane.
One of our favourite destinations as children–the waterfall. These are views looking in opposite directions from the bridge.
These are a couple of pictures that I took several years ago on a summer’s evening. We would walk up this road with our grandfather to The Boulder, a huge rock that was at a corner. I was disappointed to find that the boulder has been removed. Road hazard I suppose.
Tomorrow it is on to Lakefield and back home.
