I went over to the Hwy. 15 area on Tuesday and haven’t had time to do a blog about it. Here are my photos…
This one is actually from Monday, showing the fact that there is no ice on Lake Ontario whatsoever. It has been colder since then, so there may be a little bit now.
Back in the Olden Tymes when I lived in Kingston before, this was one of my favourite spots in town. It was wooded then. Over the last two years, there has been work going on, putting in these concrete things–no idea what they are, but it seems to be finished now.
I liked the view looking north up the river–not that exciting on a winter day, but lovely in the summer.
Barriefield. At top center is the work on the back of this house…
Here are some other beautiful old homes in Barriefield.
I love the colours on these two.
There are a couple of lime greens ones in the village too! Love it.
Next door to each other.
I’m not sure if this is old or not. I can’t remember what it looked like in the old days. Obviously the stone part on the right side of it is old.
