Another mind-blowingly beautiful day in Kingston! I got a good bike ride in today, just going about doing various errands.
After leaving work at Rideaucrest, I headed down to the waterfront.
Boats are being readied for the boating season! BTW, the Island Queen was out and about last evening, which was wonderful to see.
Wellington Street, across from OHIP.
Five drakes and a duck here. Not a recipe for peace and accord. Lots of duck squabbles going on.
One of the combatants.
These are behind the stone buildings on Queen Street between King and Ontario. I’m not sure what’s going on with them, but from the back they look like they look quite shabby and abandoned. I have cherished memories from when The Vaults was in here and singer Magoo shouted out “Psycho Killer” while climbing out the window onto the roof, and Doug Raensbury tried to keep up with his zaniness, as his straight man.
The spring flowers are out!
The Sunday Antiques Market is open!
What a day! The birds are singing. The buds are sprouting. People, including me, are cleaning their cars–the bike is already done. Folks are strolling downtown and sitting on benches. Hibernation is over!
