These are more pictures from yesterday. Today was much the same, but a little bit cooler. On the way to work this morning I heard several red-winged blackbirds. They’re back!
I hadn’t been to Norman Rogers Airport since 1968 when Trudeaumania 1 hit. My mother took us out to see P.E.T. there. I remember that there was a shuttle from downtown to the airport just for the occasion. I remember being fascinated by an interracial couple on the bus, having seen all the civil rights news on the Walter Cronkite news.
Some suburban homes near Parrott’s Bay.

The geese are back too.
Along James Snow Road.
Tonight I had an amazing wildlife sighting right outside my front window. I heard a cacophony of crows and looked outside to see what was upsetting them. It was a snowy owl on top of the house across the street, with an angry army of crows dive bombing it and trying to drive it off.
