First a correction from a few days ago. I was at the end of Emily St. taking pictures today when it suddenly dawned on me–THIS is Emily Street, not the street that I was taking pictures of the other day. That was Maitland Street. I have changed the information in that post. Picture me blushing.
Anyway, today was glorious! Just take a look!
At the end of Emily St., looking over Lake Ontario. No more open waves.
One of the grand stone homes on this street.
King and West Streets.
Wellington and West, looking to Lower Union.
Daffodils in the window? Can spring be far away?
Vines can be very handy transportation routes.
There was a bit of melting going on today. That should accelerate over the next few days, with the coming mild temperatures, although we are supposed to get a few more centimeters tomorrow. Saturday is supposed to be 5 degrees and rainy! Yay! It looks pretty, but take it away. Bring on the spring! Those smug Vancouverites are already sending us their blossom pictures.
