Lots of digging still going on. Many of the roads were in good shape today, but sidewalks are still mostly unplowed and Kingstonians are having to walk on busy roads. I hope that gets fixed soon. I just count my blessings that I don’t live in Ottawa. They got nearly twice as much snow as we did, and broke records. Yuck. It was great to get out of the house today and go about my business. Monday was a holiday and Tuesday was a blizzard, so stores, banks etc, were just hopping. Grocery store parking lots were packed, and there was scarcely a grocery cart to be found. Snowy mountain ranges line parking lots and streets.
Two shots of the Victoria Street winter wonderland.
I love the Glenburnie Grocery. Feed the birds! Deer food around the corner.
Fir trees are looking particularly pretty after this snowfall.
Two shots along Holmes Road, near Inverary. Since the sun was out, I thought I would take a country drive.
A creek crossing Moreland Dixon Road, looking south and north.
The rest of the shots are along Washburn Road. I often end up taking blog photos after all the business of the day, when the sun is going down. It sure makes for nice lighting sometimes.
