Yesterday and today both hit 7 degrees. Wednesday is supposed to be 8, with a colder one in between, but today it totally felt like spring. The sun was partially shining and it was gorgeous. The lawns are almost completely green now, with only little patches where snow was piled up. I decided to head out Hwy. 2, to the east, and poke around some of the side roads.
Before I got over the bridge, I thought I would see what was going on here. This used to be the Queen’s printing building on Barrack St. My guess is that it is going to be apartments, condo or otherwise. They seem to be doing a nice job. We’ll see when it’s done.
RMC from Fort Henry Hill.
The Canex shopping center on the base. Right next door is a Timmy’s. Canadian eh?
Some army housing.
Also Faircrest Boulevard.
My two favourite local farms are right next door to each other, out towards Eastview.
This is the other one. The barn was recently spruced up, and a new home built in the middle.
Along Roger’s Side Road.
I’m hoping to get to Wolfe Island tomorrow. I hear that there are quite a few snowy owls around.
