A New Year’s Eve Country Drive

Happy New Year to my friends and followers!   2016 is now on its way.   My New Year’s resolution is to not move house.   I like it right where I am.

This one is not on my country drive.  This is the development at Brock and Wellington.  Guys have been there doing work, but I don’t see a whole lot of difference yet.

Three fine old homes along Unity Road, two with great, long, tree-lined driveways.

Three views in the big dip on Bur Brook Road.  It is a beautiful spot, but I wouldn’t want to be living in that little house.   As you can see, the water is very high and that house can turn into an island.  Their yard is where I took a photo of a muskrat swimming around, a couple of springs ago.

This house, on Jackson Mills Road, especially from the far side, looks like it might be a made-over barn.  (See above photo with little bridge)  If it is a made over barn, they have done a gorgeous job.

I love the look of bare trees against wintry skies.
