Today it was quite pleasant out, temperature wise. The sun came and went. I decided to take a drive along Unity Road, and then back along Hwy. 2. I’ll show you the drive over two days, and then I will show the pictures I have taken recently, but haven’t had time to put up on the blog.
The swamp on Unity Road between Hwy. 38 and Westbrook Road. If there is one thing the Kingston area has, it’s swamps!
These cows are surrounded by solar panels. There is a huge solar farm along Unity Rd., that is spread over several locations.
I think this is called Odessa Lake, and the cement structure is Millhaven Dam–a teensy weensy dam.
The other side of the Wilton Road, looking towards Scotland Road.
Doornekamp Contractors and Mrs. Doornekamp’s horses. Lots of horsepower here! The picture is taken from Old Wilton Road, with the 401 to the right.
Main St., Odessa.
Two views of the loveliest house in Odessa. Odessa is not generally a paragon of architectural character, but there are a few exceptions.
The Lions Park. It’s a serene spot, with (I think) Millhaven Creek running past.
