Election Day in Kingston was a blustery affair, and now I hear rain lashing on the howling wind as well. Glad I voted at the advance polls.
You can see how windy it is from this flag standing straight out on the top of City Hall, snapping away like a machine gun.
I was waiting for a couple of seniors to vote.
Now finish the pictures from my drive the other night.
Looking down from the Drive In to the Cataraqui Conservation Area.
The old Mustang Drive-In, or Kingston Family Funworld as it’s now called. Looks like they could use a new OPEN sign. When living on Conacher Drive, I remember seeing kids (mostly boys) hiking by with packs and sleeping bags and things, to go up and see a movie–I assume from outside the fence.
I loved this view. Great light! I liked it so much I tried a black and white version.
Looking down the hill on Kingston Mills road.
Station Road, near Kingston Mills. This barn didn’t look too bad from this angle, but go a little more to the right and you can see that the whole side is pretty much gone.
Above the 401.
Those wind turbines have really been put through their paces recently.
Coming down from Fort Henry. Hwy. 2 through RMC.
