Looking into City Park, from Bagot and West streets, on Saturday morning. This little area was sponsored by the Hospice Society. There are memorial stones in the paving. One I noticed was Clair Still, who used to run the Summer Pantry in the courtyard behind City Hall many years ago–the same place that the Horn Band was playing the other night.
Later in the day–same spot. There was some kind of hilarity going on involving young people and soap suds.
I had not eaten all of my lunch, which consisted of a superannuated Asian salad with cabbage, roasted nuts and Ichiban noodle mix. I threw it out onto the grass in City Park and it went over very well with the local wildlife.
Looking down Sydenham St. from West.
MacIntosh Castle, which is in the foreground in the above picture.
One of my favourite spots in Kingston. It’s been around for a long time. Great food. There is another location in Bayridge.
Sunday evening. Dusk from Fort Henry Hill. Very interesting cloud formations. I saw all kinds of things in these clouds. At one point there was a poodle and a schnauzer. Seriously!
