These first two were taken a week or so ago. I was wandering down Princess St, between Bagot and Wellington and I wondered what this cute little shop was. Aha! I had forgotten that Card’s Bakery had moved down here. They have done a beautiful job on the store. I love the swinging screen doors. And, of course, what is inside is too delicious for words!
With all this rain, the greenery is going crazy!
Artfest. Lot’s of nice things for adults to buy and lots of fun for younger people too. I don’t like to take pictures of people’s booths, so I just have these, but here are some links to a couple of my favourite booths.
Christine Geauvreau makes fantastic wind chimes with old silver pots and dishes and cutlery.
These are delightful paintings with wood cutouts applied. She does custom dog portraits, which are great!
Deb Stagg was also there with her cement cast leaves and fountains.
These are beautiful creations, but Deb is also a wonderful photographer, specializing in, but not limited to children.
