These pictures were taken yesterday. The weather is lovely and warm. It looks fairly cloudy in these pictures, and it was supposed to be cloudy and rainy in the afternoon, but it turned out to be a beautiful day. The warm stretch is supposed to last until Friday. I’m loving it!
The Katherine Bermingham Macklem house at Barrie and King. It has always been these colours as long as I have known it. It is now a Queen’s building. It would have been a gorgeous home, with a view of the lake.
Murney Tower. These look like medieval helmets.
This spot has always reminded me of a similar spot on English Bay in Vancouver, at the south entrance to Stanley Park, if any of you are familiar. I’m too lazy to dig out a photo.
Who is this grumpy looking dude?
He’s a pussycat really. I think probably every Kingstonian has had their picture taken on his back, including me.
The Bathhouse. Over the doorway it says “Left by Captain George Taylor Richardson to the children and citizens of Kingston” Thanks!
Across in City Park, you can see that there is not much colour there yet.
Tomorrow more of yesterday’s photos, from all around the town.
