Perth Road–Coming and Going

How about a drive to see the colours?  These are a couple of my comings and goings on Perth Road.  First we finish the pictures from Monday, Oct. 6, and then finish with pictures from yesterday’s frosty, misty morning.

Fingers of dark cloud enter stage right.  My dramatic lighting disappears.

Also just south of Perth Road Village–this guy tends this field until it looks like velvet.  This is from a week ago.  I noticed yesterday that there is something growing in it.  At the back of the green field-turkeys.

I took this on Tuesday to show how the leaves had thinned out after a couple of strong winds.

This picture doesn’t do it justice, but this was a beautiful effect, with the mist and the sunlight.

This is just a little bit further south on Perth Road from the last pictures.  There is water and swamp all over this area.  They sometimes call it Land o’ Lakes.

The morning sun really made these glow.  Beautiful!   But the colours are a little disappointing now, because so many leaves blew off last week.  We had strong winds pretty much every day.  But when you get the right lighting, it can still be stunning.
